In desperate need of help...

Hi warriors,
I have been lurking here for a while as well as other IM forums, so I have a general idea of what is what. I just started my first small niche website after my main one failed (learned from mistakes) but i just cant grasp the idea as to where to get backlinks manually? I comment on blogs but at least 95% need to aprove your comment which will most likely not happen. Forum profiles are not that great i heard...

Can you please enlighten me how do people actually backlink using no tools or free tools only? Thank you for any advice or links to places which have them... im completely confused :confused:

    As I understand, backlink sources that can be automated like comments, signatures, bookmarks & directory submissions tend to get minimal credit from google. Asking the right people for links, like through guest blog posts might gain more leverage.

    1. Comment on blogs in your niche with a link to the site that you are promoting. The more popular the blog is the better. You will get a better backlink and more traffic than a non popular blog. P.S Make sure your comment is on topic and relevant and it will get approved.

    2. Forum profiles are good links if they come from the right sites like the Warriorforum and the other top internet marketing forums. It's all about the quality of the links if the link is from a well respected website, or blog with a decent pagerank it's a good backlink.

    Ways to get backlinks

    article marketing, video marketing, press releases, blog commenting, forum posting, the list goes on and on .....

    well people dont hand out blog posts, is there anything else i can do or do i have to pay others to do it? Or how do they get backlinks? I want to learn... please point me in the right direction, I want to be able to "blast 200 links" as people say

      You have to actually work internet marketing is a business and you need to treat it as such. I know link building is not very fun, but it is necessary if you want your site to rank well in the search engines, and get a ton of free traffic doing so. You can hire a non english speaking person to build you some backlinks for dirt cheap but I personally wouldn't do it.

      If you want something done right you do it yourself!

        Try writing articles about your content and submitting them to directories. It takes a little bit of time, but you get a backlink and might pick up some traffic from readers.

        Same could be said about using social bookmarking sites.

        Search Google for "article directories" and pick a few of the gazzilion results. Check out the terms and make sure they allow links in the article or author bio section.

    First of all congrats on getting started, taking action is the most important thing which you have already done.

    To make money with niche sites, I would suggest you the following:

    Post high quality unique content on your niche site.
    Make sure that your niche site is well optimized (on site SEO).
    Build quality backlinks, focus should be on quality rather than quantity.
    Doing off site SEO can be challenging but its worth every effort once you get ranked well for your niche keywords.

    To get backlinks without any tool or paid service, you can write & submit articles to different article directories. Its better than blog comments or forum profiles. Using the following FREE service can be a good option:

    There are many other ways to build backlinks but this is not the only factor to get good rankings for your keywords in search engine results.

    Why do you want backlinks?

    My guess...

    Sounds like you're in need of traffic and search engine results. If so, there are ways to do this other than backlinks, so if that option isn't working for you, I would suggest looking at other options.

    Of course, you can looking at other options and hire somebody else to do the backlinks for you.

    I've lurked here for a while too and this is my first post here. I'm just now building up links to my website. I've tried some profile links, blog comments, forum comments, article marketing, rss. I'm sure there's more to try too. Haven't tried any software yet although I would like to try senukeX but kind of expensive right now.
