I'm not talking about promoting an affiliate link, but actually having a buy button or shopping cart on your fan page and having someone use it. Have you had any luck with this?...

    If you have a big enough following on your fanpage it should be pretty easy. Hell, everyone on the planet pretty much has a Facebook account.

    I have sold through affiliate links but not through a buy now button but I have not tried that yet either.

    Yes, most deffinately but we mainly offer a free service with optional upgrade so the sale may not take place immediately from the fanpage itself.

    Yes, especially if its the landing page that the info and buy button is on. I find that it converts much more than just sending out and update to tell them about it.
