Yesterday I took the time to send a personal email to all the people who were currently mid-sequence in my short autoresponder course. They numbered about 100. Along the lines of...
"...I had a few minutes spare and I thought I'd email to ask if you had any questions about my product or email marketing. Please simply reply to this email if you do..."
It got an excellent response and I'm now interacting with some new potential clients as well as having arranged a wine-drinking date in San Francisco some time later this year
It's easy to get caught up in the whole "automation" thing - a bit of personal interaction certainly won't harm things and could result in, well, who knows what?!
Yes folks, there are real people behind those email addresses
