Have you done it yourself or had it done for you?

this may not make sense, but i say go for the 97$ so you have to deal with less customers

    Offer it at $97.

People should bee willing to pay the extra $30 for rights to a product that is more exclusive.

The more exclusive the higher the price should be.

Also with offering the product with less availability you'll make people sweat much more easier for it since there's less of it going around which means you have the larger psychological advantage going for you too.

The less there is of something, the more valuable it becomes.

People don't really want to sell a product that a hundred other people are selling. I'd go with 20 for 97$.

You'll make similar profits either option, but consider this:

Is it easier to sell something to 20 people, or 30 people?

Also, as mentioned before, people will be more inclined to buy rights to a product if they know not everyone will have the same thing.

Test ... that is the proper answer

Testing is NOT the proper answer here.

How is he supposed to "test" when he only offers 20 or 30 total copies for sale?

You can't test this. You make a decision. You either sell 30 at $67 or 20 at
        $97.

        You make a decision.

Trust me, eventually, at either price, with such a low number, they'll sell.

I would suggest go for the higher price if you created the product and it's not all over the place. Higher price may increase the perceived value which is why "premium" costs more than "regular" [take your pick:membership, product, service]. Higher perceived value coupled with low supply should do the trick.

This may be a very basic question but I keep seeing $17, $27, $37 ... $97 prices on the digital products (ebooks, courses etc) sold online. Is there some "science" to picking these numbers, the last digit being 7?

Why not $66 or $93.99? I guess the seller should make the buyer think too much about the comparison and make it easy for them to compare.

Is that it or there's more to it?

          Thank you.
