Since Facebook TOS prohibit any type of third party advertising, How do you go about making money on facebook? Any ideas?

I'm actually referring to creating a fan page or group. In any of these cases, it is not allowed to promote any offers.

        Are you sure?

Many of those Zynga games (facebook apps) have cpa offers if you want to get extra points etc. At least they used to.

Or you can just point them to your content or landing page. It's not difficult.

Can you point to where in Facebook TOS it says this?

Most Facebook fan pages are either advertising for something or have affiliate links or CPA. I know you can't trick people into things (many CPA pages get shut down for this) but as long as everyone knows it's an affiliate link there shouldn't be a problem.
