Silver Kitty Glitter?

Hey all,

Looking for opinions on a URL choice. I found a nice keyword phrase set that I'd like to use for an amazon affiliate site. The keyword itself is three words long and looks promising.

I'm considering one of three URL choices, somehow they are all available. I'll keep my keyword to myself and for illustrative purposes let's say its "Silver Kitty Glitter", which is the same length and number of words.

Which URL would you choose? If you have a particular reason for your choice please share.

Here are the examples :

BestSilverKittyGlitter .com

SilverKittyGlitterReviews .com

BestSilverKittyGlitterReviews .com

Thanks for your input,

No; actually a random thought (don't ask)- I take it you saw the one site I came across when I searched the phrase in quotes. LOL

So any thoughts on what url you would choose?

Depends, which one gets the most searches? I would go with either just "best" or just "reviews", favoring the one with the highest search volume.

Using the words "best" and/or "reviews" in a domain name are a guaranteed way to get Google to label your site as search engine spam. Think about it. The domains just scream affiliate site. Couple that with Amazon links and you're dead in the water.

Google has been pounding Amazon affiliate sites (with good reason) so if you're going to even bother trying to flog that dead horse, my recommendation is to use something like SilverKittyGlitterShop or BuySilverKittyGlitter.

btw, "best" as well as "now" have been taboo words to domainers for half a decade.

I appreciate these observations, I'd love to hear additional input from others on these points specifically.

Why? I think there's a slight SEO benefit to putting your keywords first in the domain. If nothing else it's more eye catching to people scrolling down the SERPs page.

I think it's a little misleading to say Google is "pounding Amazon affiliate sites" especially ones with review in the domain. I haven't seen this and neither has anyone else I know. To say Google has some sort of vendetta against affiliate and/or review sites is ridiculous. Google doesn't like sites that spam or have thin content, high quality review and affiliate sites are another story.

      I like BestSilverKittyGlitter.com

But that could be because I have a number of domains with the word best in them that are doing quite well in the SERPS and make a nice income as well.
