Interesting case study on this one, and proves that radio and broadcast work massively:

Interesting to read that the first infomercials failed, but once they added before and after pictures, sales took off.

I have personally done P90x and have seen amazing results from the workouts. This is an example of what testing is all about. You have to keep on doing it and they got the P90x product to convert in a massive way!

        Here's a take away.

So many people are worried because they're not experts.

Mr. Daikeler, the man behind P90X, isn't a fitness expert but he knew where to find one. Go take a look at the BeachBody site.

He has many different programs. Each with expert spokespeople. What does he do??? Remains in the background collecting the cash.

So the next time you hear "you have to be an expert" you can sit back and laugh.

Please don't spam your website like that.

Also, P90X is appealing for a lot of people because it tells them exactly what to do. Not a huge fan of it from a hardcore training perspective, but it's really not all that bad either, if a little campy. Some of the workouts can get intense.

Would love to know what shape Daikeler is in

For their other program insanity it looks like they have gone down to 60 days from 90 for their marketing message.

Now, you might want to rethink your comment on being an expert.

Carl Daikeler is an expert businessman. He hired expert fitness spokespeople and trainers.

That is a lot of expertise floating around the beachbody camp.

John Doe who doesn't know squat and his army of VA's aren't going to reach that level of success.

What is most important, the product produces results. It's not misleading hype or theoretical BS.

Also, it took money to put together all the pieces needed to make it all work.

People who think the sun rises and sets on web marketing are sadly mistaken.

Truly inspiring story. Until now I didn't know Carl Daikeler was the man behind the business. That guy is killing it and built quite an empire!

If this story doesn't inspire you, I'm not really sure what will. P90X was, and still is, extremely successful.

My mate used P90X to lose weight for his wedding and lost a couple of inches round his waist and added one to his bicep.

Here was I thinking it was faddy non-sense and discover a new niche... men who want to lose weight for their wedding using P90X
