        In my opinion Facebook is much better source of traffic than twitter. Twitter is full of bots nowadays.

        The best high quality traffic generation method is of course PPC. It costs a lot but the quality is the highest among all free and paid traffic generation methods.

            I've tried PPC, but it always costs more than I make. I'm sure my pages need to be split tested and split tested to optimize the conversion. Probably I'm just too impatient.

    Long term, good quality keyword research and good content bring people back and back. If my statistics don't show more than about 65% return visitors, then I feel like my site is 1) novice, 2) underdeveloped, or 3) not high quality. If my visitors don't want to come back for some reason, then I know that I need to create better content, get them signed up in a newsletter, or both.

    One of the absolute BEST is Solo Ad's and direct mail.

    Adswaps are good for a FREE alternative to solo ads,
    but I don't like doing them often because like promot
    -ing to many offers, you can burn out your list with a
    barage of freebies from other marketers.

    And, solo-ads don't have to be expensive. I see some
    go as low as $40 for 100 clicks and more depending
    on demand, quality of list, and niche.

    It's harder to find solo ad deals in most niches, but if
    you go to charlies solo ad directory (I think it's $200
    to join), you can skip looking for them yourself and get
    access to quality lists for solo advertisements.
