What Is Your Greatest Need as an Internet Marketer?

I'm curious to know what you'd say is your GREATEST NEED as an Internet marketer, blogger, online business owner?

Is it CONTENT? If so, is it quality, quantity, niche subjects, etc.?

Is it TRAINING/knowledge? Is so, what types?

Is it ADMINISTRATIVE assistance?

What one thing would make all the difference to you, if you could incorporate it into your business TODAY?

What's standing between you and getting that thing? Is it cost-prohibitive? Is it not available?

If you could wave a magic wand and make it happen, what would you do for your business and why?

I will say the biggest need is administrative assistance. We try to perfect everything and not apply the 80/20 rule. So we end up being lazy and wasting time because we don't see any results right away.

Its all about sticking to a method and tacking action that will be meaningful. Once we can get this down, then we outsource or hire people to get us to the next step.

A well co-ordinated outsourcing. I know I could do so much more if I delve into this seriously, but I tend to postpone laying my hands on it.

Having said that, I do a lot of outsourcing on one-to-one basis, but's not the same thing and is rarther time consuming too.

The biggest need in any business is capital. If I had 50,000 to invest, I could be making ten times that in a year. Unfortunately, I'd be lucky to have 5% of that to invest atm.

For me when I got started online was finding the right mentor who has a proven system that really does work. Too many "mentors" out there don't teach the real ins and outs of making it online and becoming really successful.

In my first 5 years online I learned from two mentors. One that told me that you don't need money to make money. The other told me that you do.

The one that told me that I needed money to make money online was RIGHT and the other one who told me that I can still succeed while doing free advertising and stuff like that never worked out for me.

It is capital for me. Many so called gurus keep shouting all around that you will need very little or no capital to do the internet marketing business while they keep spending thousands of dollars. A good capital is essential to make a full time income from Internet marketing. Hosting, domain names, auto responders, video & audio editing software and equipments, publicity costs, subscriptions for SEO services, outsourcing cost ……..
The list is long. I agree that to get started no big capital is needed but is a must to stay here and make a full time income.

I would say my biggest issue right now is getting the word out. (oh and updating my copy so that it shows the appropriate value - because the people that see my offering for what it really will be versus what people are what people see now is a bit of a gap - it's a work in progress)

Knowledge and a belief in yourself. I know that's two, but I really think you need both.
If I had to pick one then I would go with a belief. And that's a belief that you can and will succeed. Then the knowledge can come later.

    Two words Mary.

    'Traffic' and 'Conversions'

Every single person in the marketing world wants to know how to A) Obtain more targeted traffic, and B) Convert that traffic into $$$

      The greatest need is focus.

Most people just jump around from one system to the next and never get anywhere.

Choose one idea and keep at it until it works, turn off skype, don't check you emails etc
and stick at it until you succeed.

This is the golden rule. Most of people look at others method and not trying until get success.

I think the one thing every IM'er needs more of is time. I am a control freak and although I do outsource I can never trust anyone to do things as well as I would do them myself.

Have you ever thought about building automation scripts, and then handing the scripts that you created to your outsourcers ... so it's like you are doing all of the work, just not the tedious parts. (at least that's what my product is about - building automation scripts for the tedious parts ...)
