Hello,

I have been studying copy-writing intensely for almost a year. I would now
like to start writing sales letters for a living.

The problem is that I have hardly any experience and no portfolio.

So basically I would like to write a sales letter for someone for free so that I get some experience and something for my portfolio.

    If you really want to do this, create your own product and write the letter for it. Document the success and you'll have more than enough proof to get steady, paying clients. Good luck.

    My advice would be to put some of that study into practice by writing a more compelling post for your free offer.

    Seriously, where are the benefits for anyone thinking of taking you up on this? Your prospects aren't interested in building your experience in their time.

    Now you've decided that you want to copywrite, every communication you make on that subject (especially in a marketing forum) should be used to enhance your credibility.
