Where do I buy sites for sale/domains? I know about flippa and here on warrior forum sites for sale section but is there any other sources where I can purchase domain/sites? Thank you!
#buy #sale or domains #sites

If you're looking for domains, like aged and high PR domains and stuff, you can go directly thru GoDaddy and their auctions to bid on purchasing them. You can also seek out other sites such as Digital Point. But there's a big distinction here between sites and domains, so not entirely sure what you're looking to do. You might want to clarify it a bit...

Just a word of warning. You need to be very careful when you are buying sites / domains.

Make sure you do your due diligence before paying. When I first started buying I lost quite a bit of money on 2 sites with fake revenue shots.

      Good Luck!

I'd agree that after Flippa, Sedo is next in line, then everybody else.

I'm sure if you posted an add in the Warrior Forum Classifieds section you would get lots of members sending lists of domain names for sale. Many forum members, myself included, buy and sell domain names and websites on a regular basis.

I'm going to let a big secret of mine out of the bag. eBay is one of the best places to buy domains or sites. I have scored one dictionary word domains for $20 and 4 character domains for as little as 99 cents. The trick is to watch the auctions. These days eBay auctions are a huge gamble for the seller because eBay traffic is dwindling. You might get true value or end up losing you item for opening bid but buying there is excellent.

As for the others mentioned :

Sedo is full of people who over-value their domains. They think every domain is worth $3-$5k.

Digital Point is nothing but scammers. I would never, ever, ever do business with anyone on that trash forum.

Flippa is good but you have to be very careful. The site is full of ex-Digital Point scammers who got tired of scamming for $5 USD and learned how to fake screenshots of earnings, traffic, etc. I see so many auctions there that are blatantly phony like people claiming their site makes $3K per month in Adsense and their Alexa ranking is 2 million. Yeah, right, nice fake screenshot.

Namecheap has a marketplace. I've also found domainpopcorn.com and have been checking them out lately. There are a lot of places to find domain and site markets, but like everyone else has said, just do your due diligence and check them out.

GoDaddy is the best place for you to bid on sites, just make sure that you know what you really want tho, don't get caught in the hype that's out there, but highly recommend GoDaddy......

Godaddy is great. to be able to bid on the deleted domains, the fee is $35 per year.

Like others posted though, you've got to do your due diligence.

Also, freshdrop.net is a pricey service but has really good data for pr and aged domains.

eBay is THE BEST place to buy quality domains for cheap prices, just like LooseChange mentioned. I was able to buy extremely valuable domains there for less then $50. Besides you are protected by eBay as a buyer, so if you get scammed, you can always get your money back.

Other place I would recommend is GoDaddy's Auctions. Quality domains are more expensive there, but you can still find a few gems.

Sedo and Flippa are not so good for buying domains, unless you want a specific one not listed anywhere else...

There are free listings for domains and sites on namepros.com also. Due diligence is key, but I have picked up some great domains and a few great sites for cheap. I picked up one domain for $20 and sold it for $900

Everyone I'm sure has a list or two of domain names sitting around that need to be sold. I know I have a bunch. Are you looking for a specific domain name?. brainstorming is fun too.
