What Do I Do While Waiting For EZA To Upgrade My Account...I Cant Submit Articles

I submitted all the articles I could before getting a review of my account. They say that I will not be able to do anything until my submitted articles are approved. THAT WILL BE A WEEK!!!

What do I do in the meantime? I do not want to get a week behind. And, I am getting good traffic from the articles that have been approved.

Could I maybe create a new account and try to market a couple of different niches in the meantime?

Write your stuff in wordpad or on a blog first and then submit it to EZA when they upgrade you..

Personally I would always recommend you put it on a wordpress blog of your own first...

I've been wondering about this and the so called duplicate content penalty. An article in EZA is usually a lot easier to rank than the same content on a blog. Would posting the content to your blog interfere with the exact same content on EZA ranking well in the SERP's?

      Any thoughts would be appreciated.

      • What is a good alternative to EZA? Will the alternative get your articles listed on google as fast and well as EZA?

Ideamarketers.com - your article goes up immediately after you post.

Go to other directories - there are tons of them besides EA.

          ArticleDashboard page rank of 5
          EA's page rank 6.
          GoArticles rank 6.

As you can see, there are other sites that are the same or close in rank as EA.

Besides, posting to more directories will get you more benefits in links and traffic. The more directories, the better.

If you want to put your articles on your blog too, take 20 minutes or so and rewrite them and that will solve the duplicate content issue. You should always rewrite unique content for your own sites anyway.

        No..

The "dupe content penalty" as you describe it is a myth. The google blog has documented this as fact, straight from the horses mouth as it were...

Once you submit to EZA, your articles get re-publshed all the time and still do well..

Here's THE perfect way to use your content..

        Write it

Put it on your blog until it gets indexed.

        Submit it to EZA

Re-write a little and submit it across the net (squidoo, hubpages, goarticles, USFreeAds)

        Peace

        Jay

p.s. This method serves me well day in, day out

    ezinearticles<dot>com

There are many other directories out there you can submit to as well, including a really powerful up-and-comer.

I also agree, wholeheartedly, with what Jay says above.

EZA will initially decline your article when they find it on your blog, but a simple email telling them it is yours will get it approved. After a few times, once a note is made on your account, they will begin accepting the articles immediately. At least that is what has happened with me.

    Allen Graves

<edit> And in some documented cases, you will get even more traffic from another directory.

Thanks for the tip (thanks to JayXtreme as well). Does the order that I do this in make a difference? i.e. can i submit to ezine first and then publish the content to my own blog or site, or does that make a difference?

I'd just like to echo a little what Allen said above...

There is an article directory I know of..

    Website-Articles.net Exclusive Article Submission Platform

That is not my affiliate link.. I am a member, but I hate to say I have neglected my use of that directory, my business partner tells me it has real power.

My article marketing has taken a back seat recently but I do intend to ramp it up again in the new year and that particular directory is going to be one of my weapons...

It happens to be owned and run by Allen Graves up there... it's MORE than just an article directory.. it's an article marketing education in a box that allows you to use it for promotion

    Peace

Keep submitting new articles to EZA, but do it with another account or pen name poitning links to your site.

Don't stop and wait around for EZA. There are tons of article directories that you can submit to. If you're serious about article marketing (or content marketing, really), EZA won't be your only game.

use goarticle for the maintime . let me tell you something more i saw some people on this thread saying that you should use wordpress blog , yes wordpress is good .. but to me i find blogger own blogs more interesting in terms of higher ranking and the clickthrough i get on adsense they are high just because blogger blogs are made for adsense they are not pretty and that means that the moment a visitor comes on they want to get out immediately ... they would look for links and click out and most links on my blogs that they click happens to be an adsense

I have also gotten good traffic from www.associatedcontent.com. It doesn't hurt to submit articles to different directories; in fact I think that having backlinks from a variety of directories, as long as they are good high page rank directories, is better than having all of your backlinks coming from one directory.

But also, as everyone else said, if you are having good success with your articles so far, keep writing. And either submit them to other directories, put them on your own site, or save them up for when ezinearticles approves you.

      Hi Dana,

Associated Content? I must have missed something. I couldn't find a way to add a resource box to the articles i submitted there. How do you get traffic from them?

      Thanks!

I second (and third) the above suggestions:

      1) write more articles

      2) submit your articles to more directories

      3) post variations thereof on your blog etc.

I think some variation may come naturally when you consider that EZA
accepts articles that are fairly short, but other directories require 500+ words
      (or 450 in some cases).

So you expand it, and voila, new article.

And for your blog, you add a couple of things, take a couple away,
and presto, change-o, no duplicate content problem.

What you want is for people to go to your blog from your EZA and to
make it rewarding it shouldn't really have the EXACT same thing on there.
So think about what will make them glad they stopped by. Offer a little bit extra.

I also recommend iSnare.com. They also seem to submit to Goarticles,
where my articles have turned up since I've started submitting to iSnare,
so you can get published in a bunch of places with one round of effort when
you go that route. It does cost money, but not much, and to me it is well
      worth the investment.

And then go looking for some niche directories in your area of expertise
and submit your articles there as well.

      Good luck!

    1.) Keep writing.

2.) Record podcasts with your approved articles.

3.) Do powerpoints and submit to Scridb and slideshare.net (Read their TOS and don't promote)

    4) Set up your RSS network with your other articles.

5.) Do a video with your Content and a PoweraPoint and Royalty Free Pictures from stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site

6.) Upload to multiple video sites then RSS them.

7.) Start a Blog Talk Radio Show and cover the material in your other articles. Brand yourself as an expert.

    See...there is plenty to do.

It basically is a way to get your ezine articles working harder for you by posting to other article sites.

Pretty slick trick. Since your EZA articles are already doing well, this may give them a good kick in the butt while you are waiting.

Also get some more backlinks as well... It's a win-win.

Thanks for the link to that other thread. Turned out to be a real winner! Never thought of doing that, and now I just started, and I'm already noticing a bit of movement after just cross-"promoting" a few articles by way of one other article directory. And there are many more to go! YaY!
