Landing page feedback

Hi everyone,

I've been following the discussions on warrior forum for a while and I'm constantly learning.

I would really appreciate any feedback on my landing page Rusdens « Rusdens and in particular

1. Do you understand the offering and if not what can I do to explain it better

2. Could this type of product be sold through affiliate marketing and how does that work

3. Any tips on increasing traffic

Big questions I know but I have to start somewhere

Thanks in advance

Don't know if it's my Firefox browser or not, but it was taking a long time to load. From what I saw, it looked nice, but the loading time might be a turnoff for the people you want to see it. I don't think the page was fully loaded by the time I clicked off of it.

No, it wasn't just you. I had the same sluggish problem in Safari - a VERY slow loading webpage. I just ran your page through the 'Web Page Analyzer' and even it took forever to analyze your page.

Your stats for the page are:

      Total HTTP Requests: 81
      Total Size: 801173 bytes

That's quite a large webpage at over 800kb and 81 is a lot of requests to your server to display just the one page. I imagine you have a lot of scripts and plugins running which is slowing things down.

Your webpage can be as pretty as hell but if it takes forever to load, no one is going to stick around to see it. I have a super fast Internet connection and I had to wait around 5-8 seconds to see the page start loading.

I would work at rectifying that issue first and foremost.

    1. You help businesses fire up employees so they make the business more money by being more productive and happy at work.

    2. Yes I believe you could it looks like it's a monthly fee that people would pay for. I would setup an affiliate program that perhaps pays out 50% or more. You can have the affiliates promote something that either registers them for a webinar where you sell the service after walking them through the benefits and how you help them or you have them promote some sort of guide that they'd download after joining your list which explains to them how this benefits them

    3. Affiliate program and buying traffic I could also see some media publicity might work well if you give out a tips on how to boost employee morale in a tough economy etc.

There are several issues with this page. It loads slowly. The flash up top is so slow it breaks up as it cycles.

If this is a lead capture page you need the optin box up above the fold. Don't make your visitors click to find out what onboarding is. You need to explain it right up front.

You have no headline so people will arrive to the page, look around and leave. There are too many sites to visit out there for guessing games.

Explain, Explain, Explain what you have.

On another note, the page does have some eye appeal but that's not nearly enough to keep people interested without fixing the other issues. Good luck.

You need to offer something in the optin box at the bottom. What do I get by putting my email there?

Also the "Find Out More" button is kind of useless there I think. It just opens a window to send an email, and hardly ever will anyone take the time to send you an email saying "send me more info". Maybe you could make it so that a click to that brings up a pop-up asking for an optin, and explain what I would get by entering my email. You can put a Contact link somewhere else for people that want to email you directly.

Honestly, when I got to the site I didn't know what exactly it was about. I had to wait and look at the slideshows to figure it out! That's a big turn off because you have at most 5 seconds to capture visitors. If they don't see what they are looking for then they are gone

** You Need A Captivating Headline That Fully Describe What You Website Is About.

Next, at the bottom of the page you have a space for email address. Unless I just like sharing my email address, I don't know what I would optin. You need to make it clear for your visitors so that they know exactly why they should enter their email addresses. Give away a free report or maybe a 7 part newsletter or something. Always try to make it easier for your visitors.

** Make It Super Cler To Your Visitors Why They Should Enter Their Email Addresses

** Place The Optin Form Above The Fold To Increase Your Signups

In my opinion also, I think you could get rid of the help button at the top, bring the slideshow more to the top and also decrease it's size. That way when people land on your site that can see more details of exactly what you have to offer.

      Hope those tips help!

I've now changed the opt-in text to "Sign up for a free four week course covering what is onboarding, what to including and common pitfalls" is there anything else you suggest I change?

Yeah man, I didn't even know what this was. The headline is not clear.

    The image itself is grainy.

The theme/page looks slick enough, but it doesn't matter because I'm not sure what to look at.

Most importantly, I didn't even notice there was an email submit until I came back here and read there was one.

You NEED to get that ABOVE THE FOLD and bring ATTENTION TO IT.

Nice looking clean design. Here's a few things to consider.

    1. You are using up a lot of 'screen real estate' at the top with the main graphic and headline. You need to use that space much better, as already suggested, by including an opt-in box higher up the page.

Or, put something more compelling in there. For example, like an introduction video and a much snappier headline. Have a look at this site for example, Press Release Distribution, Writing and Marketing | Ravepress.com. It's a similar(ish) design but uses video and a short headline in the top section of the screen.

    2. With regards your headline, although now it does convey a clearer message on what your service is about it doesn't really 'grab' my attention. The headline should convey a very powerful benefit and if you can present this as a 'problem' too, then it's very powerful.

For example, rather than just describing your service, try and state it as a 'problem'. My understanding is that:

It takes employers a long time to get employees up to speed and you have a way to shorten/half/reduce that period. And obviously the quicker they get up to speed the quicker they are more productive. And for example if that is a sales person, then the quicker they are making you money.

So a headline could be "How would you like to slash/half the time it takes new employees to become fully integrated & valued/money making employees?"

That headline is too long but hopefully you get the idea. Identify the problem the employer is having and then quickly identify how to solve the problem in a sub-headline.

    4. The sub-headline should state how your service helps to solve the problem. At the moment I don't understand what 'Rusdens' is providing me i.e. the employer. Address that in the sub-headline or at worst make sure it's explained as high up the page as possible.

    5. I'm sure you are on the case, but there lots of grammatical errors, missing full stops, etc in your copy. Go to Fiverr.com and do a search for 'proofread' and you'll find a number of people to do that for you. Or get a few other people to read over.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks Liam, do you think I would be better having the email box above or below the six benefits?

Hmm it's a hard one to say really, I like it where it is but as well as being above? The way I would read it I think it's best below to be honest - As you wouldn't want to sign up your address before you know what it's for? Hope that help's?

        Thanks, for the thanks!

Just another note I would maybe move the telephone number down next to the email section.. Look's slightly out of place at the moment. I think it would give a slightly cleaner look.

          HI,

I'd change it with more sizzle than steak on the landing page. Bullets or buttons and just an introduction to each aspect of the program; such as, instead of "Improve Engagement" use "Employee Retention". Then give just a part of the paragraph like "Employee turnover is an massive expense for most companies. With 90%....". They would have to click here to see your full explansion. Do this for each section where you identify their problem in the bullets, but have a solution in the paragraph they have to click on. List these problems in a Bullet list with bold enlarged fonts.

Then I'd have the "Take a Tour" video below that.

I'd suggest that having What is Onboarding, Plans, and Price (separating the plans and the price) as additional tabs to go into at the top. Free four week course would be my headline instead of What is Onboarding. and I'd have each section with a final link to the Plans section so they can go to the plans quickly from any of the listed problems/solutions of the program.

    Forgot one other thing...

If you have any testimonials, they should be added as a separate page.

I'm not saying anyone is wrong about the loading times, but i'm running Chrome and I have a 25mpbs connection from New York City - page loaded pretty fast for me, 2 seconds max really. I close it, tried it again and it was the same really.

I'll try again tomorrow and if it's any slower I'll update my post, but pretty reasonable for me.
