My current plans - thoughts?

So here's where I'm at. I started out writing on Fiverr and got a few gigs from a fellow warrior. I added in three promotion methods (a signature link here, a gig video and an ad on Best of Fiverr). That combination has the gigs rolling in fast.

As I get more experience, it's starting to become clear to me what I'm good at and what I'm not so good at. I believe I'm a great writer (my feedback speaks for itself) and I love the work. One of my "weaknesses" is that I'm not blazing fast when it comes to producing articles. I take my time and produce quality, which doesn't fit the Fiverr model. As someone said before me, great place to start, bad place to stay.

I've got about 2.5 weeks before my ad runs out on Best of Fiverr. When that happens, I'll be making some changes. I'm looking for some critique on this...

Basically, I'm working for half of minimum wage on Fiverr. Takes me on average an hour to create an article, sometimes more. I can't sustain that so it's time for a change. Here are the options I see:

a) Create a Classified Ad here and offer my articles at a higher price. Between $6.50-$7.00 for a 400-word article would make me happy. This will happen once I reach 50 posts

b) Start working on PLR. I love producing quality, well-researched material. If I can sell it more than once, I don't care if it takes me a long time to create.

c) Create short e-books to sell on Fiverr. I'd probably got the PLR route here. Once again, more time upfront but possibly more cash in the end.

d) Start my own article marketing empire. I could just as easily write for my own websites.

What do you think makes sense for someone who is looking for the next step up from Fiverr?

There are also some other Fiverr type sites that let you charge more money. I think TenBux - What would you do for $5 or $10?| Home is one of the bigger ones

And can you do anything to outsource some of that writing to free up your time?

B should make you the most with least amount of effort

Congratulations! You actually took time to think things through and weigh your options. You also came up with a plan of action. You don't really need this thread to affirm what you already know but I'll say it: GET FREEKIN BUSY! Good luck.

Find a good low cost writer and outsource and get the cost down and scale up more. If you want to make more on Fiverr

What I suggest you do is to offer to write about 5 or so free articles for fellow warriors so that you can get some positive reviews and build up your credibility. I seriously wouldn't go the fiver route unless you are just going to write articles of 200 words or less.

You said you average an hour for an article and that would be very painful to sacrificing so much of your time for $4 from fiver and then again have to wait at least 13 days before you can withdraw it.

The classified option is the best one in my opinion but you seriously need to working on your speed while not sacrificing quality. Otherwise it's going to be a long shot. Me personally love to have my work done as soon as possible so I think a lot of people with go to the service provider who can get the good quality articles but in a faster time.

I wish you all the best though!

Alright, I've got something cooking in the old noggin. I've discovered that there are two types of income in internet marketing: sustainable and unsustainable.

Sustainable income is making money that suits your lifestyle while not consuming all of your time.

Unsustainable income is either having to work mad hours to get a reasonable amount of money or working jobs that simply don't pay enough for your lifestyle.

What I'm doing on Fiverr right now is unsustainable. If I were to keep doing this, I would work until I die and never get ahead... EVER. Those two sentences alone should be enough to propel me from Fiverr with extreme prejudice.

As much as I'd like to give Fiverr two thumbs down and one finger up, I'm meeting some people on there, getting experience and gaining a minuscule amount of seed money. On the other hand, I'm getting 2/3 of those things just hanging out on these boards. Decisions, decisions.

With what I've typed out here, staying on Fiverr for another three weeks would lift me to untold heights of jack-assery. I'm gonna wrap up the gigs I have and start on product creation.

Thanks for the tips, fellow warriors!

    Here's a huge tip:

Use Fiverr as a stepping stone for your service. Instead of slaving away to write 400 words for $4 (after Fiverr's cut), post up jobs that are more comparable to what you want to earn - say start at 250 for one Fiverr. Then they'd have to order 2 from you if they want a full 500 word article.

There are many tricks on how to leverage Fiverr to make a lot of money, you just have to think outside of the box.

With the right mindset, you can make sustainable income sooner than you think, whether it be on Fiverr, the Warrior Forum, or "in real life."

The sure way to be successful: Never focus on the money. Always focus on giving your customer or client the highest quality of work/product that you can create. You'll soon be up to your elbows with repeat customers and clients who are willing to pay premium prices for the premium quality of work/product you deliver.

I think that for some people, you and I in particular, product creation is the best route to take in IM. The best success I've had so far in IM is with an eBook that I wrote offhand as a test and it has sold over 500 copies on Amazon so far. So I am not going to worry too much about affiliate marketing, CPA, etc anymore and just concentrate on the one thing that I KNOW I can do better than most people : write.

    Good luck on your path!

Thanks for the groovy tips, everyone.

What I might try as well is selling some PLR on Fiverr. Smallish packs but uber quality.

I did a quick search and most PLR gigs are something like, "I will give you 10,000 articles on weight loss for $5!". Assuming each article is 300 words, that's a staggering total of 3 million words to go through and edit (35 books worth if you swing that way).

I might try offering a couple of packs with seven articles or so. Supreme quality for a good price. Never know!
