Starting my Own Blogging Service

I'm in a country which there aren't really good Weblog services like Wordpress, Blogger(Both are filtered here) etc. Do you think these is a way I can start a Blogging service using wordpress. I mean people can sign up and get a wordpress blog from my site.
If yes how is it possible?
Thanks

Not sure if I get you, mate... You're saying that people are not allowed to use Blogger or Wordpress in your country, but then you can offer a service that will allow them to have a Wordpress blog? Isn't it contradictory? Or I didn't get you?

You got me correct. When you type in wordpress.com you get redirected to another page which belongs to the government (It has a rank of 485 in Alexa).
I want to start a website which people will have wordpress as admin area but the blog is on Something.mydomain.com.

Sounds like the country you're in has strict censorship laws. You being a citizen of said country, I'd advise you to check if it's even legal for you to do so. Otherwise, if you want to be a potential martyr for "Freedom of Speech" in your jurisdiction, there are numerous options for you.

I'm 1000000000% behind your idea. People should not be restricted but btw, what country are we talking about? I, for one, wouldn'twant to see another Warrior Forum member beheaded because of advice I gave.

I did search in google but the search results just show blogging services itself. Not just a script. Do you know any script which can make a blogging service like wordpress?

Can you go to wordpress.org? (are you allowed to visit it?)

If yes, just download the script and install it on your domain. Then read about the MultiSite feature: before version 3.x.x there was WordPress and WordPress MU (=multiuser).
Since version 3 the two scripts were merged: now you can make your own site like wordpress.com where people can sign up and start a blog at:
    username.yourdomain.com

It is almost that simple... get my free report about the WP multisite (sig) and read it carefully + the WP documentation: codex.wordpress.org

If you are familiar with WP, you don't need the video tutorials! Just read the report and the docs.

Wordpress will create the subdomains automagically as users create their blogs. Just do as Istvan suggests and read the readme docs well because since the regular and WU merge I believe the settings to switch it on need to be done in the config files and not via the admin interface.

So what kind of hosting do I need? Should it be dedicated?

That depends on how much traffic you will get. You can always start out with a shared and if needed upgrade (trust me, your hosting company will be the 1st to let you know you've outgrown your shared hosting resources, lol).

At least a shared will be cheaper while you get the website up and running and in the beginning stages of promotion. Unless of course money is not a concern for you.
