I saw this stuff happening in audio industry, and now it is a reality in video - you don't need expensive stuff to make decent looking videos anymore, just like you don't need anything fancy to make a decent sounding song.

However, more than before you actually need to learn the very basics - the timing of the picture, what words and symbols to use, screen movement..

Because no matter what anyone wants you to believe, if you want your video to be effective, you have to follow at least a couple of simple rules.

Yes, indeed. I remember back in 2000 when broadcast cameras would cost 20k ++. Now a mid-range DSL will do a better job for 1/10th of the price.

That's why we created the service to begin with. We recognized that the key to the future of the media is speed, content, and automation.

It does help to know the basics though.

The videos are really high quality. But the loading speed of the video is too slow in youtube. Perhaps putting the videos in other sites will be better.

It's a set of video templates you can customize. Like the example from the OP.
There's a good set of free templates - I didn't count them I'd say 10 or 12. That's good enough for a start. Once done you download your video and do whatever you want with it.

10-12 templates - sounds awesome! Agree - enough for a start.

By the way, the videos made with Flixpress are NOT allowed to post on video sharing sites like Youtube, as far as I understood their therms.

You must have misunderstood:

Flixpress users can download the 1080p HD, web and mobile-ready final products in .MP4, .MOV, WMV formats for broadcast, web, digital signage, presentation, or mobile applications. They also can upload the rendered file directly to popular video and social networks.

They don't want people copyrighting their templates as this would prevent other users from posting videos created with the same template.

I have several of these on youtube - NO problem.

I just have to give you an update on this as I jumped on the PRO version and gave Animoto a kick in his butt.

I just made 2 preview videos for a client, to give him an idea what the vids will look like

Video 1

Those are private, you can't search for them and the client needs to accept one of both to edit further.

Just a sample that you can make AWESOME videos with this, with the PRO accont.

Actually, it cost nothing to be pro, you just have the purchase $50 in credits at once. The videos will then be charged to your account if you are ready and actually buy them.

So the $50 bucks are for videos you make, not for the account.

Highly recommend this.

Your videos are private, so nobody can see them. You may want to set security so people have to have the URL to see them instead, or a password.
