Internet Marketing and income tax?

Is it just a matter of filling out a self assessment form?

I'm just a newbie, but I meditate and it's all about thinking about keeping your destination in mind whilst knowing that it's not the end goal that is important, but the journey itself.

An international forum is not the best place to seek out this kind of advice. I'm not trying to be rude or witty, but depending on where you live, the tax laws and specifications vary a lot.

I suggest you seek out an attorney that specializes in tax law and has counseled other IM'ers on the past.

There are a lot of professionals here, with a cumulative mountain of experience in running their online ventures but this is not a topic that can be properly addressed in this forum.

However if you asked a more specific cuestion and gave some details about your general location, you will probably be pointed to the right direction.

    Cheers,

    Jaguar

The answer to that (and any other related questions) is always that it depends on which country you're asking about.

But in general, yes, in most countries you have to pay income tax on your profits from internet marketing, on a "self-employed" basis unless you incorporate. In countries that have income taxes, that is.
