Can I Do a Test Purchase With My Amazon Link?

Are we allowed to do a test purchase from our own link? Will I be credited? I just want to check if my links are working properly.

    Nope.

    any of, the following:

    • any Product purchased through a Special Link by you or on your behalf, including Products you purchase through Special Links for yourself, friends, relatives, or associates (e.g., personal orders, orders for your own use, and orders placed by you for or on behalf of any other person or entity);

    You can use your own link but you will not receive credit for the sale. Same goes if others at your address that have Amazon accounts. You will not receive commission for any orders delivered to your address regardless of who buys it.

      Got it thanks

      i guess if you really really want to get the credit you can use a friends name or relative (only if you ask them and they agree)

        Not unless you're on a different computer than the one you're normally on when you use Amazon.

        Use the Amazon link checker.

    If you just want to test your links you can use Amazon's "Link checker". It's in the affiliate area, under Links & Banners.

    if you're making money with your associate Id in amazon, don't risk it. amazon is nothing if not technically savy, do you really want to risk it for some short term gain?
