Can UK People Pay In Amazon.com Cheques?

Hello

This is aimed at anyone in the UK who promotes for Amazon.com

When you get paid by Amazon.com by cheque, do banks accept them without a problem or is there anything specific we need to do?

    Yes - go to the Foreign counter and just tell them you want to pay in a US dollars cheque.

    I still do this with my Amazon cheques every month. I used to do it with the Clickbank ones but they added the 'pay to bank' option so it's only the Amazon ones I do it with now.

    I've done this about 100 times without any problems.

    p.s. they will charge you and it can take up to 5 days to hit your account.

    I hate cashing checks. Here in Sweden the bank people always try to give a big speech about how bad checks are, how difficult/unsecure it is for them to cash them, etc etc. Like I didn't already know that, and like I actually have a choice...

    Do you have a US dollar account? Otherwise I think the banks sting you £25 or more to cash the cheque.
