    1. yes- but they may need some modifications.

    2. Yes, but you can't remove other author links on free sites. It is the "price you pay" to use them

    3. Check out Theme Forest (dot net).

What type of business do you mean?
An eCommerce site, a consulting business, a realtor?

      You could try this site:

With free themes I remove most of the links out of the footers but leave the one link that is actually relevant. I have used many themes in the past and some publishers are taking the p1ss when it comes to links..

And if I mod a template far enough I will get rid of all links

But in an answer to your question there are plenty of professional web themes out there.. I like using genesis theme :-)

If you go to that theme's forum and donate you will be given instructions for removing the footer credits.

I rarely use them. If I do, it's because of added functionality - for example, I use Classipress for my listing sites because of its additional features.

As a web designer I've found the investment in a premium theme is well worth the price. My experience is using Woo Themes. I love Canvas as it's really easy to work with in the admin section. There's lots of color, text and configuration options. Once I learned my way around modifying the theme I cut the time it takes me to launch a pro site by about 1/4.

It's also nice to have reliable updates and SEO features. For around 80 bucks I bought 3 themes and am happy as a clam, money well spent.

Other than that, I swear by Smashing Magazine for everything web-design, great community and lovely inspiring work.

Have a look at these premium themes:

    Karma Theme
    Headway Theme
    Canvas Theme
    Builder Theme

These themes are surely worth it.

    More power to you.

    Cheers,

    1. Before we can give you an answer, you will have to define precisely how a "business site" looks like - according to you!

    2. Yes.

    3. Not all of them.

Yes - your wordpress site can look like professional site if proper theme is used.
    Yes you can.
Yes, but if the price is right and the theme is of your choice!
