What percentage of CPC do you get paid?

I'm targeting a keyword with a CPC of $5.45..does that mean I'll get paid that much per click? help a warrior out!

Also if you're getting say 2,000 visitors to your site per month what's the expected CTR?

You will get paid 68% of what Google gets paid by the advertiser for delivering the ads to your site. The AdWords CPC number has little if anything to do with this amount. The Content Network and the AdWords are two seperate systems that have their own bidding process and as so, different prices.

Yep, Tim is correct. For example, Spyfu recently listed the top CPC keyword as "asbestos attorney las angeles" at $128 per click.

But on an Adsense site, this same ad has a CPC of 77 cents.
