Who Knows What the Best Twitter Manager is???

I have seen dozens of sites and a multitude of applications, that all claim to be the "best twitter manager".

Here is a short list of what I am looking for:

1.) Manage followers and followed based on the NEW TWITTER TOS that says you may not BULK UN-FOLLOW. In other words, have a "drip unfollow" feature.

2.) Categorizes twitter members on a variety of dimensions such as "keywords", number of tweets, authority, followers and how many they follow, recommended websites, and anything else that can be mentioned in a tweet.

3.) Manages direct messages.

4.) Perhaps connects to other social platforms and email.

And anything else all you wonderful and innovative warriors can think of. Twitter is starting to prove to be very useful to me and I want to know (and own) the best management product out there...

-Thanks!

-DTM.

Tweet Adder is a fantastic product I use everyday. Its running on autopilot, adding, dropping and tweeting based on keywords in people tweets.

      Thanks Mediaspree,

I will definitely check that out as it sounds good, I like auto-pilot for tedious tasks. My main concern is not breaking Twitters TOS for following or un-following too many at once.

Thanks Mosthost - I will check these out as well.

So, do you prefer a stand alone app you run on your PC or a web app? I would be happy with a plugin or even a script if it covers the bases I mentioned...

With most automated tools, you can set a daily limit on how many they follow/un-follow.

It's already been mentioned, but Tweet Adder might be your best bet for the requirements that you've listed. You also might want to check out MarketMeSuite.

Yes tweet adder allows you to set limits and time between follows/unfollows so you don't look like a "bot". I will say that when I first started using it, I went crazy and tried to follow 1000's a day. My account quickly got suspended. I soon wised up . So be careful!

Has anyone tried Twitter Manager Pro?

It only asks for a one-time payment and it seems to have the functionality of the subscription based platforms out there...

Tweetadder is good for managing follow/unfollow and it does drip. Social Oomph is good for managing DMs, bulk updates, and tweeting per keywords. And then to actually categorize followers into automated lists try Formulists.

Tweet attacks I have heard some amazing things!

However, I would highly recommend using Fiverr.com and get someone to add 1000 followers for a $5.

You can also use search.twitter.com and search for people's problems....such as - someone might tweet - "i hate my job" or "i want to quit smoking" - you can then send them a tweet in response.

    Regards,

    Chris

Thanks everyone for you very useful answers to this question. I have been using semi-automated/manual hybrid techniques... I go to twellow, look up tweeters that are interested in my niches, follow them, wait a week, follow my followers, unfollow those who do not follow, send good tweets with links to good content, Rinse and Repeat.

It works, it drives traffic, it is a bit slow. I will continue to look into some of these other possibilities as time permits.
