Can PDF's be sold on Amazon?

I've been wondering for a while now, if PDF's can be sold on Amazon.com

I know they have kindle, but I'm not sure if kindle readers read pdf's.

I was wondering what eDoc's are. Are they PDF's that can be sold?

    I've sold my book on Amazon for years and it was a PDF. I had to upload the graphics, cover, and doc files to them and they converted it. I already had it in PDF form but that's the way they wanted it.

    Kim, you can sell it on Amazon's Market Place as Print on Demand or in the Kindle Area - if you have an USA address and a USA Bank Account/ you can create an account there to sell your ebook. They will convert it and list it there (Amazon keeps in this case the majority of $$ but it's free .) Also I offer the service at bookscanning.com to convert pdf files into a Kindle Readable File - so you can sell it directly from your website

    As far as I know eDocs is closed currently to new books, but you can publish through Kindle as long as like the PP said you are American, with a US address and bank account. If not you can also publish it to mobi-pocket (or simply publish directly to mobi-pocket if you are American and it gets distributed to Kindle anyways this way.)

    Hey, I'm looking for anyone who actually has a Kindle book up for sale on Amazon.

    I'm seriously considering putting my book there for added exposure, but I was hoping to get some honest feedback about the sales generated.

    So, in a nutshell.

    How's the traffic? How are the sales from Amazon ?
    Are we talking 1-2, dozens, hundreds?

    I'm really curious.
