Need some help..

I have a few templates to create landing pages I am not very technical with this type of stuff. What do I need to create a landing page? I know I need my own domain and hosting ect but in terms of the graphics part ect.. do I need to get an HTML Edior? I know this is simple but can someone walk me through it?

    Yes Domain.. Hosting.. (Get Host Gator) I am horrible with editing all the graphics so i always outsource that unless i am using Wordpress for a blog..

    You need a graphics editor like Photoshop or Gimp to edit images. You need an HTML editor like Dreamweaver, trellix, Frontpage etc to edit the HTML. You need an autoresponder for your list. I think that covers the basics. As for teaching you how to use them its not something that is fast or easy. Hostgator is good for hosting, Go Daddy is good for registering domains. If you're not good with the technical parts like it was suggested above, outsource it would be a good option. Its a pain to learn it

      i think if you want fast action to get some earn cash, just outsource it dude, because to learned about html, ect, need more time to do it.

    I have a lot of experience doing this simple stuff and would be happy to walk you through it and set it up with a 1-2 hour walkthrough. There will be a list of software I can give that you will need to download, and you need to be prepared to sign up for web hosting which costs a little bit.

    I'd be willing to do this for ~$100 because I need a little extra cash right now. I know I'm new here but I'm legit, you don't need to pay it all up front.

    If you're down to do that you'll learn a valuable skill that you can use time and time again... let me know if you're interested

    It depends on what you are trying to achieve.

    Look into profitstheme or optimizepress... both are great for people like me who aren't technical and are bad with graphics.

    Hey man check out Myexpressite.com it will allow you to buy domains and host them, it will also allow you to create cool landing pages without faffing around with html, full tutorials on their and great help desk, I use it and have been very impressed with it.

    My advise would be not to use html if you don't know how. Register your domain through namecheap and get hosting with hostgator. Hostgator allow you to use something called cpanel. In cpanel you will find something called Fantastico - which allows you to install Wordpress automatically.

    The beauty of Wordpress is that you don't need to learn HTML to put up a simple page and all the editing is done online, so no need to understand how to ftp.

    Once you have installed Wordpress, go to your site's admin area - www(dot)mysite.com / wp-admin

    Look for "Appearance - Themes - Install Themes" and search for a theme. There are hundreds to choose from, many with graphics already installed.

      I'd worry less about the technical stuff and more about the actual copy - because in the end that is what is going to sell the product for you.

      You can find a bazillion free templates to plunk good copy into after the fact - and get some cheap or even free graphics that you might want.
