Link in resource box getting some articles rejected at Ezine...

Hi,

I submitted two articles to Ezine on the 9th, both related subject matter with the same resource box.

One article accepted and the other one rejected because of the link in the resource box! The same link! And because of this my status has gone to basic plus, and in an email telling me this ezine suggest I concentrate my improvement efforts on my links from my resource box.

"Please make sure that your links contain sufficient quality content
to ensure a positive user experience. Please pay special attention to
the ad-to-content ratio, relevancy, and navigation"

The two links went to my homepage www.kitchenaccessoriesheaven.com
and related article Retro kitchen design

Any ideas how to approach this issue?

Ezine is getting really uppity in their approach . I have found that it takes way too long to have articles reviewed and so Ive started looking for other high ranking article directories. Just Google using SEOquake to find the high rankers.

      ???

EZA turn around times are faster now than they have ever been. My last 2 articles were reviewed and live in under 24 hours, and that was before I was upgraded to Platinum.

I agree that the turnaround time has sped up, I only submitted these two articles on the 9th and already have a result, one accepted and one rejected

With as many editorial staff as they must have, you can't expect complete consistency in interpretation, I suppose. I'm ever-quick to defend EZA, here, but even I'll admit that this one really does look a little bit "uppity".

Rarely, if ever, have they been faster than they are at the moment.

If you submit one acceptable article per day, every day, they'll still publish 30 of your articles every month, whether they take 1 day each or 4 days each. Sorry to be so logical, but what difference does it really make how quickly they accept them?

There's no such thing. The page rank of their home pages (which is what you're actually referring to) doesn't make that much difference. All article directories publish all your articles on their own, new PR-0 pages. Sites don't "have page rank". Only pages have page rank.

Well if you put in that exact link then you have a broken link problem.
