Can i sell my forum signature on WF ?

Please read the sig file rules. You are allowed to link in your signature to sites you own, or pages within the WF where you're selling something. Occasionally someone will link to a known charity, which is also okay.

Selling your sig file space is not allowed.

We've had instances of people offering to buy sig space, and it's worth warning folks that this is not a good idea. Not if you want to keep your signature file.

  $15-$20 is definitely not worth losing your sig, or getting banned. I know this is very popular on some larger marketing and adult boards, but here I think it would be a poor choice.

But even if it was, I would want to buy your signature area why? Who are you that I would want my name or offers associated with you? Are you some great prolific poster that would have people clamoring to click in the sig?

This is what all the SEO spammers are doing here. They post worthless crap but they don't care if no one clicks on the sig. The power of the backlink is all they care about. And I'm willing to bet (no proof) that they are getting paid for their "backlink service."

You know, people are belonging in a few categories here. There are, who...

- can read and want to understand

- can understand an answer when they get it first time

- can understand what they read - after a while

- can't understand - for some reason

- don't want to understand and push nonsense again

But this forum is like no other. If you are an Internet Marketer, then that would be like selling your soul or something. It wouldn't make sense. Your account and sig are you.
I don't know if you get what I mean, but WF is not a regular forum that way. Plus it's against the rules anyway.

Oh, of course, but check out the adsense subforum sometime and you'll see the spammers hard at work, racking up the "great post" comments. Sometimes they switch it up with questions like "how do i do adscense?" or "what is the meaning of backlink?"
