I'm a big fan of copy writing too... I think it's one of those 'life skills' for an internet marketer... takes time and effort to learn, but once you do... the possibilities really open up to you.

Are you a copy writer already by trade, or is it something you're slowly getting into?

Well I have actually sold some of my copy work on freelancer sites.

Obviously I have sold my own products with copy, but mainly it's the psychology behind getting people interested is what makes it such a passion.

I have definitely not mastered the art, but I have some tips to share and I have seen this subsection has some awesome writers that share great info daily.

PS: I am also a web/software developer. Bit of a jack of all trades.

Yeah that's what I seem to be ending up as... content provider, copy writer, content locker, product developer etc. etc.

Seriously, I know it's on of those throw around phrases, but the more you learn, the better your business will be.

As long as you don't spend ALL your time studying... learning from experience is where it's at

I'm currently working with one of the top copy writers in the country (ok, the UK, but still ) and what I've learned from him has been phenomenal so far... looking forward to the rest!
