I am here considering 3 things that i would have changed a year ago when i started IM.

1, Would have read a lot more, Get to know the niches/markets better.
2, Elude these so-call get rich quick solutions that i bought.
3, Join warrior forum a lot quicker.

What would you change as an beginner?

    Hey Nicolas,
I agree with all you 3 points. And I would add this one:
I would take action to start implementing things sooner instead of searching for "magic push button solution" (that doesn't exist of course :-)).

    Best regards

I would change the mindset so I'm prepared mentally to take action and start making money. I would build more relationships with other marketers and also start to build a list more quickly.

P.S. you should join the war room because your missing out big time.

    1) Find a proven coach and pay for their coaching.
    2) Focus on one method until I start making decent money at it.
    3) Stop eating fast food and use that money for business expenses to make things happen faster.

I would have focused a lot harder on ONE method. It took me several years to "settle down" and stick to just project at a time. Of course, if you're new you kind of have to jump around a bit to see what works and suits you.

This is very solid advice and I completely concur.

There are thousands of ways to make money on the Internet and you will never learn them all. Knowledge alone will not make you successful.

Too many people spend far too much time trying to "get it all right" instead of just "doing it". Nike's "just do it" slogan really says a lot. Pick a specific approach to focus on and dive into it - that's the best way to get rolling...

      Take care,

First, I would be more active in worthwhile discussions like topics found in this forum. I am learning a lot just by reading a few conversations everyday and I plan to further extend my knowledge. Second, be more positive. I avoided several opportunities before thinking that it would save me from scams and other unwanted situations but it turned out I only missed out on wonderful opportunities by doing so. Lastly, I'll focus more in planning. I often go off course with my previous projects which made me do more but earn less. But I will be better this time for sure.

I guess I would changed the mindset that i had back then.
I was always detracted and had no self discipline...that's still sort of a problem now though,

Abraham Lincoln said, "If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I'd spend six hours sharpening my ax."

That quote obviously deals with being prepared. If I could start again I'd get better acquainted with the marketplace and what drives it before trying to serve it. I think one of the main causes of failure and frustration is jumping into something too fast.

Another thing I learned a long time before getting online is to actually strive to provide value. There are two ways to approach IM. You can use the drive-by approach which is aimed at making a quick buck or you can build a business, which focuses on building relationships and offering massive value.

The third thing I'd do, and this definately applies to me, is begin building my list sooner. Offer great incentives to people in your target market and then continue to offer even more value. Lists are powerful and give you many options to earn money.

      2.Focus only on one project
3.Focus on how to drive traffic (SEO)

also not to spend so much time on sport news sites...

I'd definitely agree with all 3 of those, think you've got that pretty much what most people starting out would agree with.

I would add, avoid procrastination and definitely start goal setting.

I would concentrate/focus on one system at a time. If I've chosen Amazon, I would concentrate on building Amazon sites which are profitable before trying anything else.
Remove my name from subscription lists.
Participate/review the Warrior Forum more often.

I think the first thing I would've done differently is get a coach to steer me from all the junk that is on the internet. Secondly, I would have budgeted my expenses a lot better and third but not last, I would got in the game a lot sooner when the business was booming.
