Please help with wordpress (I'm technically challenged)

I took a deep breath and installed wordpress onto (into?) my website. In a separate directory. I know, I know, that basically means I made a couple of clicks and fantastico did the rest. Okay so now how do I add a custom header to match my site?

Actually I'd like to make the blog look like the site with the same color scheme.

    Do you have your custom header already made and you just want to insert it?..

    Dee, wish I could help, but being in the same boat as you (technically challenged) I always hire guys to design and install custom headers on my WP blogs. I usually have the pictures I want and say here, turn that into a header and install it.

    So if you want to do it yourself, maybe someone who is not technically challenged can give you instructions.

    If you already have the image, you can have a look in your wordpress design code and just change the header image path (replace the current header image name with the name of your new image and make sure your new image is in the same directory as the old one was).

    You might try this... I found answers to a couple of techie and non-techie issues this way.

    Ping over to YouTube and search/find a tutorial on add a header in WP.

    I needed some help with XSitePro web tool and found a series of How To from a guy who was an expert with the tool and it made my problem go way.
