Need some advice selling a niche local website network

I have a network of 3 sites, plus 5 domains all related to a particular niche in a particular county in the UK.

I also have social accounts, sub blogs (blogger, wordpress etc.) Twitter account plus other related sites.

I was thinking of selling on Flippa, but not sure how well that would go in terms of it's geographical market.

Anyone have any other ideas of where I could potentially sell it? It does make profit, although I think it could make more in the right hands.

Thanks in advance.

BTW - the main sites have PR1,2 and 3 and collectively attract over 1,000 visitors each month.

I suggest going offline. There are many small businesses that hardly have any motive to get online. So your pretty much giving them an "online business in a box". I'm sure you could negotiate with an offline business in that niche that would love to jump on it!

I've thought about that. I have a competitor who may be interested, but I need to be careful how I approach them.

I could look into local directories and find similar businesses who may use the sites.

      Thanks for your ideas.

How much traffic are you getting daily per site?

      Hi Gary

As I say, I get about 650+ per month on 1 site (the main site), and between 200-300 each for 2 other Wordpress blogs that feed the main site.

Although it makes profit, it's not enough to sustain a salary, but could be good as a sideline for someone in this niche.

just out of interest, why do you want to sell them? in my experience, the price you get is likely to be less than you hope for. Why not just put adsense on them and make some passive income?

I have Adsense on them already. One of the sites is a directory site, and so I have to be careful where I put the Adsense as I don't want to take clicks away from paying advertisers.

To be honest, I am finding I have less and less time to focus on these sites, and my knowledge in the niche is limited. I am having to pay out for articles constantly.

I think someone already in this niche could fly with it / them.

I think the first suggestion of going offline may be the best. If I contact business owners in the industry who may want some extra income (not to mention awareness in the SERPS), it might do well.

Also, as you can see from my signature, I am selling various sites so I can concentrate on some other ventures.
