Hey guys,

Doesn't anyone know of any software out there that will do this free of charge? I need to do it once and once only so it seems a little silly to spend $40 on a piece of software.

Seems strange that you feel you only need to do this once! And for $5 you could get someone to do it for you on Fiverr.

If it's a short video you could try Animoto though a free account has a 30 second limit. You could also try Fiverr as suggested above for $5 or even Fourerr which is even cheaper :-).

I use Camtasia for my powerpoint videos but Im guessing you can use Jing for free

Hi Do a google search on 'hypercam 2' its free screen capture software like camtasia and will record in format so you can upload video straight to youtube afterwards.

  Can't you split your slides into individual images and then use Movie maker to piece them together with a possible voice over and make it a movie?

  I don't know about your version of MS Office, but the 2010 version lets you save the PPT/PPTX file as a video!

Hi,
There are lots of software available in market to convert your Powerpoint video in YouTube applications. If you want on free of cost than only "Animoto" is providing you 20 or 30 second video. For more time you have to pay for running your video easily.

If you want a free solution, try camstudio. Its a basic but free screen recording software. Otherwise as suggested above use camtasia, they have a 30 day free trial with the software fully enabled for that period.
