Are you succeeding as an entrepreneur?

Hi

We are entrepreneurs for a reason...The lifestyle (in potential), our creativity etc...

But bottom line, are you doing the right things to be successful as an entrepreneur?

My partners Spike Humer (legendary business turnaround expert and former CEO for Jay Abraham) and James Brown (you probably know him from the WF and his incredibly high ranking sites) have created a FREE radio show to help you overcome your problems.

There's NOTHING to buy. Just free non stop content.

SuccessBugs Entrepreneur Talk Show with James Spike 05/27 by successbug | Blog Talk Radio

Spike and James would love to hear YOUR questions/dilemmas. PM me with your issue. We'd love to feature you (and get you a stack load of exposure) on an upcoming show.

Barry

To answer this question, one must first define: What is success?

Most people think of success in terms of money, but it's so much deeper. It's about purposely creating the life you want, living life on your own terms, and not being stuck on a treadmill...

This video has influenced my attitude towards my life, success, and marketing. Even if you've seen this, it's worth watching again.

Greatness is difficult to appreciate from close up. The great mountain on the horizon is only the ground when you are standing on it.

How do you know MOST people define success in terms of money?

I think it's pretty clear at one of the components of business success is making money.

Listen, I'm the last person to say that that constitutes real life success...

I have dedicated most of my working life to education and serving people, not my bank account, but as an entrepreneur and as a MEANS to a greater end, for sure I judge my success through my economic position.

        You disagree with that?

I agree Barry. With this kind of business even if a person thinks he is more knowledgeable than the other and have a lot of skills doing this business but not making much money out of it, I don't think he can say to himself and to others (i.e. family) that he is successful.

No I am failing at being an entrepreneur at this time. I seem to try things that don't work which costs me my time and money . I'm I a fool?...I guess so. I buy something, it seems killer, then the software that is suppose to help me fails to work and the support goes away. It happens to me time and time again even when i buy WSO's which I thought would be better. Sometimes you just got to look at yourself and admit maybe you're just to stupid to do this.

Ever since I went out on my own a few years ago and started making a good living in Internet marketing I've seen a positive impact in most other areas of my life including relationships, health and attitude.

I have a list of things I want to do as an entrepreneur. The trick for me is actually getting to the list and paring it down. I think this site helps me a lot because of the great free information like the podcast (thanks, Barry!) and advice too.

There is a big learning curve (for me!) to making money on the internet, but many resources here.

Right now I wouldn't consider myself 'successful' but I definitely plan to get there soon. I just need to narrow my focus instead of trying to multi-task.

I like to think I am.

I'm earning very well via Amazon through my personal review sites and am now ready to open the doors on a crowd-sourced review site (think Squidoo for Amazon affiliates w/o the rev sharing). If that takes off, I'll move away from doing my own reviews and simply run crowd-sourced websites.

  • I keep finding myself repeating the same things over and over, and here I go again.

Being #1 in search doesn't matter.

People can find your site through many different ways and I think SEO is a waste of time. Optimize your site for sure, but forget about getting backlinks.

If you want to make money online build your freaking list!

    Create your own products

    Help your affiliates make money.

ok that is the last time I am going to say it.

Success is always over the next horizon..but what happens when you get tired of climbing and always reaching the top of different mountains? Time to find a new "job"? Success is always mercurial in that fashion. Right now i'm focused on pushing the limits of technology. Successes to me are marginalized to a mere minutiae of small blocks of code
