Was surprise to see a $4.85 payment from ebay!
I check my paypal account a few days ago and was quite pleasantly surprise to see a $4.85 payment from Ebay Partner Network!
I was left thinking how did I manage to make money from ebay's affiliate program..
Then I remembered that a few months ago (I think it is around september..) that I bought a WSO from one of our warriors on how to create joomla sites and add ebay's rss feed in it so that the site will list the products automatically.
The thing is that I totally forgot about the the 2 joomla sites that I created. The only promotion I did for the 2 sites was to submit it to a few directories and did some social bookmarking. And I did that on September.. I never promote them after that.
I thought that the traffic will die down but instead it is very slowly going up. Now I have about 2 visitors per day to both my sites. It is not much but I never did much promotion anyway.
One of the site has already made me about $13 this month.
Hmm.. What if I set up hundreds of these type of ebay/joomla sites?
Can somebody explain how come my 2 sites are still getting traffic? Is it because of the auto updating ebay rss feed? I've checked my webstats and awstats and discovered that the traffic comes from certain keyword phrases But it is not from the Big 4 search engines.
The traffic came from the smaller search engines.
What are you guys input on these?
