Why i can't get high traffic generation?

I tried many ways to get traffic but I failed. I don't think that affiliate marketing is hard like that. Help me, please!

You haven't said what you have tried.

You can pay for traffic and get it immediately - so getting traffic is not the problem, it must be with the way you're trying to do it.

As a few people have already suggested, perhaps you are going about it the wring way:

Try submitting your site to as many search engines as possible, the more you are on, the more chances your site has at getting views.

Advertise your site on social networking sites, in this instance it is probably best to set up a business facebook account just so your friends and family members don't get bombarded with posts to do with your website.

Ensure you have NO broken links on your site!

Hope this helps a little, there are people out there willing to help with this issue, you may have to pay for the right advice though

    Best Wishes,
    Elle

You've tried many methods........... OK, Can you remember ONE method, had given at least 10 traffic?

This means this traffic generation method works...... Isn't it? Next, start following method related resources and improve awareness.

As next step, stick into the method and work hard (Don't you like to work hard? find another job)

When the method starts giving appreciable results (perhaps, it'll take 2-3 months), remember another method, had given at least 10 traffic....... and continue........

I think we need a bit more information on what you've tried exactly, how long your sites been going for etc.

Another simple way to get traffic is Forum Marketing. Find popular yet highly related discussion forums to share your valuable comments.

Put a link to your website in your forum signature just like on this forum. Consider making it an image link for extra appeal. If you find a highly related forum discussion, you can even put a link to your website directly to your forum comment.

After you have posted a few comments and learned the ways of the forum you can consider creating a forum discussion about your website. Put a link to your website in the discussion starter and try to sound sicnere instead of commercial. Add images to attract more attention.

Like me, there are obviously several people trying to advise, but you still haven't told us what you've tried so far, and for how long.

Give us this information, and perhaps the niche, or even market you're working in, and I'm sure the help will start flowing.

Without this information you'll get individual random answers, which you have to fit together yourself, or vague replies whaich don't help you.

Or are you looking for all the answers for building traffic? If that's the case, you need to find a suitable site or manual/course.

Of course, if you don't answer, we'll assume you can't be bothered, and this thread will die a slow death.

Getting traffic ain't easy...if it was, every Warrior would be sipping drinks on a beach somewhere. You need a traffic strategy, and it doesn't sound like you have much of one right now.

You can advertise a banner or text link over sites which has niche of your website type and if possible post banners at free classifieds sites.

"Hard" and "easy" are simply too vague terms to comment upon. What did you try to do to generate traffic (SEO/PPC/article marketing/video marketing/social media marketing/offline methods/anything else)? Did you end up working on a "reasonable" niche in every sense (competition, traffic/search volume etc)?

Until and unless you clearly specify I hardly suppose anyone in the world can hope to help you in any realistic way apart from jotting down some general theories and philosophy.

There are many ways to get traffic Free and Paid. traffic can be easy but you need the right type, IE Targeted traffic. A good cheap way is to use solo ads you can target your market and get a good flow of traffic.

Another good way fro free traffic, one which I use is blogs, I post to my blog nearly everyday and again this brings in a steady flow of traffic.

Like I said there are many ways some good some not so good...

    Good Luck

    Hey,

what are you trying to do with the traffic when it gets to your site? Are you building a list or just sending to a site or sales page, quite hard to just send people for free to a sales page and make sales off the bat.

Your offer and the way you craft the message to contain details of the offer will go along way to deciding your flow of traffic with free methods, basically quality content that is informative and then leads them on to something else will see you succeed

I would suggest start using Stumbleupon and Reddit. They will give you HUGE amounts of traffic once your content is good enough.

I am confused, you just broke the first rule of IM.

start hopping from one thing to the other.

Myself, I always kill it and test it on one traffic source, then move on to the next one and test that.

after all your testing, say a few weeks, you will know what brings the best results and the highest quality traffic. Then all you do is keep doing that, and your conversions will go right back up.

    Can I hear an amen!?

"Traffic, traffic everywhere and not an ounce to drink" ~ Rob Korczak

Everyone on this thread has made some great suggestions, for around $10 (don't hold me to that exact figure) I can probably send you 30,000 hits.

Having said that, converting that traffic will be hard unless you're pushing an inexpensive novelty impulse buy type of item.

Getting super targeted traffic can be done. The long term White Hat way or the "slash and burn" Black Hat way.

Believe me when I tell you that both methods can be quite difficult as both have their obstacles.

If you're NOT doing adsense then I wouldn't worry too much about keyword targeting. I would focus more on the various "long tail" keywords that describe what your site does or what group of the population it is meant for.

Make sure the basics are in place, make sure you've got your META Tags in tip to condition.

Use services like Pingoat to get your backlinks indexed, this is just one method.

The absolute worst thing you can do is to be seeking out huge numbers as far as traffic. I'd rather have 10 targeted uniques than 100 random clicks.

You can purchase targeted traffic but it comes at a premium price so before you do that be absolutely certain that your site(s) have been tested and confirmed as sites that convert into sales. Once you are certain that your site will convert then, and only then, should you even start to consider purchasing targeted traffic.

Just my 2 Cents and I hope they help.

I don't know if I'd agree with that, because the backlinks themselves wont drive traffic unless they're actually getting traffic to drive.

I think traditional article marketing can still work, but you have to backlink the sites these days. Ezinearticles, Squidoo, Hubpages, etc. can still rank IF you backlink them.

Gone are the days where they easily outrank everything else, unless maybe you're going for the keyword "how to sew a black cotton dress while sitting in a barn" or something
