How to get Analytics to track conversions.

Hi,

I have a website which is highly ranked in G. Now I need to setup goal conversions. Im having difficulty. When I used adwords I used to send traffic through to

www.mysite.com/index.php

I could then use /index.php as the goal start.

Now my site is listed organically I no longer am able to list index.php as they go straight to my landing page www.mysite.com

Is there a way to force traffic through the index.php before going onto my landing page? From organic traffic

    It doesn't matter which page they land on. The whole point of goal conversion funnels is to track how people progress through your site before buying/opting-in. As long as you have set up the tracking code on your thankyou page, you are good to go.

      Right, assuming you're using the AdWords conversion pixel and not a 3rd party, it doesn't matter.

    If it's an affiliate product you could always use a combination of the networks stats with your own new tracking setup for the actual buy page. Do a search for tracking202.
