Hello.

I am new here. I will build my own blog empire. But i have a few questions.

Is it better to use a different Domain for every blog?

Or is it better do use one Main domain and use subdomains?

Can I use 1 Hosting and setup different domains on it?

Which Hosting provider can you refer and explain how i can do that?

Thanks for your answers

you can use HostGator, HostMonster , BlueHost, JustHost etc http://www.top10webhosting.com/. You'll have Unlimited domains so you can have how many domains you want( you need to pay the domain-for this I recommend https://www.godaddy.com/).
Install WordPress with just 2 clicks with Fantastico Deluxe.( you'll find it in CPanel).
Depends on what you want to do. You can use different name domains.

Which Hosting provider can you refer and explain how i can do that?
For instance: http://www.hostgator.com/ We choose hostgator. Buy a webhosting plan( starting at 3.96$ - hmm, it's a great price ! ) - Register your domain - install wordpress - you have your own blog!

so, buy a domain+ host -> with 2 clicks install wordpress -> make money !

    GOOD LUCK!

If you are in a hostgator host you can use fantastico. It is straight to the point Wordpress Installation.

I recommend going with a web hosting company that allows for add-on domains (multiple domain hosting) so that you can keep adding websites to you hosting account when you have a new blog idea. Best of luck to you!

I recently switched to Hostgator and love it. Fantastico saves me the time and hassle of having to set up a database when launching Wordpress. Just about everything can be set up in the Wordpress Admin panel with no need for loading themes and plugins using a file manager.

If you get the Baby account at Hostgator, you can add blogs with their own domain name to that one account. In cPanel, choose Add On Domains (not SubDomains) to add the new blogs once you have the new domain names registered at a domain registrar like GoDaddy.

I would recommend having a different domain name for each blog. It keeps everything separate so someone cannot steal your entire "blog empire" idea, plus it just makes things more organized and easier to deal with.

I recommend HostGator for web hosting. You can purchase their baby plan and host unlimited domains from 1 account for less than $10/month.

Somebody above already answered this, but if you get cPanel web hosting you can install wordpress in a few seconds. I wrote a guide on it here with pictures for each step of the process: How to install wordpress in 30 seconds.

As for whether to host your blogs on a single domain or multiple domains, I'm inclined to say host on multiple domains. Google likes sites to be topical, so if you have a domain that has blogs on a ton of different topics it's hard to rank them. Granted if you do get them to rank your site will have a stupid amount of link juice.

As for hosting, just look for any cPanel web hosting company that allows multiple domains. cPanel usually comes with a platform like Fantastico, which lets you install wordpress really fast.

If you are looking for a host, we have a WSO here that makes us cheaper than HostGator and we have a bunch of positive feedback from other warriors, see my sig for details.
