Have You Every Done This Before? Youtube + StumbleUpon Ads Strategy...

Hey Warriors,

I have some money in my StumbleUpon account and I'm wondering how effective this strategy might be...

I want to drive traffic to a Youtube video that gives away some awesome free content about weight loss, which then directs people to an affiliate page at the end of the video....

Has anyone payed for StumbleUpon ads for their Youtube videos and had results?

I've never tried this, but I wonder if it's against SU or YT's ToS. They often want you sending traffic to domains you own. I'd check out the terms for both sites, although I'm not sure YT could detect you sending paid SU traffic vs unpaid.

I don't think it's against SU's policies, mainly because they have a ton of Youtube videos on their site.

I'm thinking it would work well, as long as the video really gives some good value and people "like" it on StumbleUpon. That's the goal here...to get free viral traffic from StumbleUpon...

You know I haven't tried SU ads yet, but that is something I am planning to test out for myself and my subscribers VERY soon. It looks to be a great up and comer in the PPC arena and has some massive traffic potential!

Yea, StumbleUpon is picky - but they LOVE youtube videos. I'm thinking it would be an easy way to get your video the jumpstart it needs to go viral...

Of course the video has to be "viral worthy" then just spend 10-20 bucks on ads which are 5cents a click on StumbleUpon...
