Can You Guess Number Needed for Alexa

I have a site that floats at the 1mill Alexa ranking and gets about 700 - 1000 uniques visitors per day. What number o you think you need to break 500k and 100k?

      LOL... Thats a good one...

      Alexa rank is based on how many people have the alexa toolbar installed when visiting your site, so in short you have few regardless of your traffic so in short, you would need to know how many folks use Alexa that visit your site. There is no way someone can give you those numbers with precision.

      OP, you can break the 500K just by having the toolbar installed on your browser and visiting your site once per day.
      Are you sure you get that many visits? Or are bots and vulnerability scripts that flood the Internet being counted?

        Nice tip,think I'll just install the toolbar to make me feel good

        The numbers I use are from google analytics so not sure if they count scripts and bots as unique visitors. I'd be interested to know if they do.

        Wait, so for your rank to increase, the people who visit your site have to have alexa installed? Has that how it's always been? I don't believe that. That is annoying lol.

        I thought a few years ago it was just how many people visited your site.

    It's not accurate as I understand it, uses stats via it's Alexa Toolbar which everyone doesn't have installed..

    With 500-1000 uniques per day (if they are real humans) you will get around 20k alexa after 3 months.
