How many clicks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

I've been analyzing my business looking at past stats and I found that almost every time I've sent 300 clicks(or above) to a reasonably good offer I've made at least 1 sale. This could be traffic from my list or purchased(ppc, solo, etc..)
Obviously there are a lot of different factors that could improve or decrease results and the actual offer is going to play a huge part in this, but all things being equal...
I'm interested to know,
What are the minimum amount of clicks you've found you can send or buy to consistently bring you at least one sale? 300, 500, 1000?
