Clickbank/Aweber Tracking Question

Pretty much everyone is familiar with a standard way of making more sales with Clickbank and an autoresponder. You use a squeeze page, collect opt ins, then send them backend offers along with good content.

Simple right?

Well here is the thing that I am having trouble with.

I need a good way to specifically TRACK the affiliate sale back to the keyword the subscriber used to find my webpage in Adwords. This can be tricky when using an autoresponder.

I found a cool trick that you can use with Aweber where you can use a "Custom Field" that will attach a specific id to each subscriber. This is great because if you have 10 landing pages then you can use a different opt in page with each page - but each opt in page directs the subscriber to the same list.

So say that you have a few ad groups like this:

lose weight fast
lose belly fat fast
lose stomach fat quickly

You get a better quality score in Google by making a specific landing page that is based around each keyword/ad group.

So for example it would look like this:

(yourdomain) loseweightfast.html
(yourdomain) losebellyfatfast.html
(yourdomain) losestomachfatquickly.com

Then you create a specific opt in form for each individual landing page and assign a Tracking ID to it. You can simply create them randomly like this:

(yourdomain) loseweightfast.html => 123

Then when someone opts in through that landing page they are given the tracking id "123". Each landing page gets its own specific tracking id.

So then you can send affiliate offers via aweber for clickbank products and use the Tracking ID to correlate it with the TID of a hoplink.

For example, in an aweber autoresponder you can send them to an affiliate offer and use the Tracking ID for the TID. In Aweber, the Tracking ID is insertd with this: {!ad_tracking}

It would look like this:

(YOURAFFID).(MERCHANTID).hop.clickbank.net/?tid={!ad_tracking}

So using this you can know exactly which subscribers from which ad groups are the ones BUYING stuff through your autoresponders. Its easy to correlate your subscribers to specific ad groups that are making you money. Cool eh?

THE PROBLEM....

Using a naked clickbank id in an autoresponder message is ugly and not nearly as effective as using a cloaked domain.

A subscriber in an autoresponder would be more likely to click on (yourdomain) /losebellyfatquickly.html (just an example, not my webpage) than (YOURAFFID).(MERCHANTID).hop.clickbank.net/?tid=123.

The thing is that I can't figure out a good way to cloak the affiliate link AND STILL preserve the the Tracking ID value.

The only software I know of that can do this is GoTryThis - but its not available right now. It may be available soon but I want to roll out these campaigns as soon as possible.

I have some landing pages in several niches completely ready to go EXCEPT for this step. If I can't get this part figured out then its basically worthless. I actually tested it before and spend $79 on Adwords and made $98 total. But I had no way of tracking where my sales were coming from!

Does anyone know any kind of alternative software that is similar to GoTryThis that can do this? I know there are a lot of different link cloaking software packages out there but they are just basic. This is like ninja stuff that I need to do here.
