Hey warriors,

I was wondering what a realistic list size would be. Is it possible to build a list of say 10,000 people in a couple months?

Also, at what point do you think it would be possible to make say 5,000 dollars a month from your list? How big of a list would you need for an income like that?

    The size of the list matters, but it is also the relationship you have with your list.

    It is like me asking, is it possible to lose 8 stones in a couple of months?

    what poinit do you think it is possible to lost 4 stone by my diet?

    Not an easy question to answer. Yes, it's realistic if you have the right resources and skills.

    On the earning $5k from it.. that COMPLETELY depends on how well you monetize it, and on the quality of your subscribers. It's really more dependent on that than the number of subscribers... of course number is important, but it's always easy to scale up - it's being profitable in the first place that's the #1 concern

    It's not about the size of the list you have, its about the relationship that you have with the people that are in your list.

    So many people abuse their list and spam the people that are in it, which means a lot people are going to opt-out, which means a lot of lost revenue for you.

    Stay focused on creating a good relationship with the people that are in your list, and you will be more respected by those people

    I have a friend who makes over $1 million a year from
    a list of less than 5000. I know others with list of over
    100,000 who struggle with paying their bills.

    So, as has already been pointed out, size is less
    important than quality, and your relationship with the
    list.

    Having said that, one good roll-out of an in-demand
    product (using affiliates) can build you a list of 5000
    - 20,000 in no time!

    It does take effort.... or sometimes luck. For example,
    I recently stumbled into a JV that will build me a list
    of another million... probably inside of 2 months.

    At the same time, I have friends who have been
    struggling with list building for 5 or more years who
    still probably don't have 5000 subscribers.

    What's the difference?

    Offering something that enough people want, but also
    nurturing your list in a way that your don't lose them
    as fast as you gain them.

        List building is like another world by itself. It also depends of the niche, you can have a 500 casino related subscribers and make $20k with them, and have a 2000 cooking recipes related subscribers and make $700.

    You can certainly build a list of 10,000 within a few weeks - just head over to Adwords and get your credit card out. The key is building a quality list, and one that consists of buyers, not tire kickers.
