Build A List I Know - But For Every Site I Own?

O.k so I know you are supposed to build a list and I admit I've been mucking around for a few years online and haven't done so.

I've made thousands through sending people to various affiliate products but that was it, one bite of the pie!

But now I really want to make a go of making money online but I have a couple of questions.

1. Should I be getting subscribers for EVERY site I own, bear in mind I don't have any IM sites, they are all niche sites either promoting affiliate products or adsense.

2. What do I give the potential subscriber in order for them to join (this is the one where I really get stuck) . For example I have an adsense site that focuses on a medicinal mushroom.....what the heck am I going to offer potential subscribers to get them to join.

3. Once on the list how often should I contact them and should it be all automated, eg. create about 12 emails and send them out over time (of course promoting related products).

Thanks for any insight and pearls of wisdom!

Get one of those MRR ebooks in your niche and offer it as a free bonus. Works real well that way. And yes automate the process and after 12 emails send timely announcements.

And yes it's better to have subscribers from all the sites. If they can turn into long term customers then why not?

    Hi terryd,

I would most definitely build a list for each of your websites. And yes you need to get an autoresponder to automate the process. Believe me, it will streamline things considerably for you. Plus now you will have the potential to make alot more money with backend products you can create.

As far as what to offer the subscribers of your medicinal mushroom website, why not create a report that discusses the benefits of another herb, natural cure or holistic therapy? I am willing to bet that those who are interested in medicinal mushrooms are also likely have interest in other natural or alternative cures as well. Just a thought.

    Cheers,
    Jim

    1. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!!

    2. There is a lot of different things you can do. In the case you outlined, you could simply have them opt in so they know when the site is updated with new content.

    3. You should contact them as often as you actually have something constructive to say. It's ok to offer products, but make the pitch actionable content so they don't complain nearly as much.
