This is my 100th post on Warrior forum. So, I was though to share this technique with you.

I'm doing Blog commenting since long time for backlinks and free traffic. Here's one of the simple methods I use to find niche blogs for commenting.

1.Go to Twitter.com, create an account.
2.On twitter search box, type "New post (your niche keywords here)" as an example, new post internet money, and search.

Wait few seconds, you'll find so many niche blogs (depends on popularity of niche keywords you type) for commenting.

This similar technique works especially well for getting .edu backlinks.

Many of us here already know that .edu sites are among the most 'trusted' by the search engines, especially Google. .Edu backlinks are also highly valuable because they help increase the site's SERP (Search Engine Result Pages) ranking.

Backlinks give your site credibility. And the quality of the website giving that credibility does influence the value of the backlink. So this is why it's important that your backlinks are coming from authorative and trustworthy .edu sites.

How To Find .EDU Sites To Link From

This is one quick and easy way to find places within .edu websites where you can get some powerful backlinks to boost your site. And with a simple 'tweak', you can use this method to find highly relevant places to get some targeted backlinks for your site.

When you use this technique, you'll be able to easily find .edu sites with blogs that you can comment and link back to your site.

A quick note on this strategy:

No doing spammy 'black hat' stuff like posting, "thanks, nice blog, woohoo!"

This isn't really cool and it could get some of these comment sections closed down if these spammy type comments get out of hand....

Take some time to honestly read and review the post and make a valuable contribution. Your comment is much more likely to be approved by the moderator and you'll be rewarded with a nice backlink.

If you do between 5 and 7 of these each day, you should start seeing some results in your SERPs ranking very quickly. In a few shorth months, the difference should be quite noticeable. Naturally, you'll want to diversify your backlink strategy, but this is a powerful technique.

    How To Build .EDU Backlinks

    This part is easy.

    Google search: "inurl:blog site:.edu"

The results will show millions of .edu sites containing blogs. In order to refine your search to find more relevant places to get backlinks, do this:

Google search: "your keyword inurl:blog site:.edu"

So that's pretty much it. Digging through blogs on these sites can take a lot of time. Some don't allow comments, and others require approval.

If you've got the time, this is definitely a powerful method for increasing your site's search visibility.

Greatness is difficult to appreciate from close up. The great mountain on the horizon is only the ground when you are standing on it.

Well said scott, stuffs don't give any value into your comment. You must write intelligent, informative comments for getting direct traffic thorough comments.

I wouldn't count on this method for generating a significant amount of traffic.. you might get a few people clicking back to your site if your comment is interesting enough.

The main purpose of this technique is to get your comment approved by a moderator so that you get an .edu backlink pointing to your site.

Not only for moderator approval, I'll explain how it helps to drive more traffic.

Intelligent and informative comments always give positive credits to commenter, and the mode what? that positive credit generates on readers mind is: he feels like "this person (commenter) is experienced and knowledgeable guy about this topic"

Then what happens? Naturally, he tends to visit your link.

Wow thanks sscot. This is great. I'm not so good with Twitter stuff, and it's on my (enormous) To Do list.

Congratulations on your 100th, I've seen you loitering here and there recently. People will talk.
