Autoresponder problems

I checked my Aweber account and saw a huge number of unconfirmed subscribers. I was wondering why there's the high volume, could it be the confirmation email wasn't sent out.

So I filled up my webform on my site and clicked submit. Got redirected to Aweber default "confirmation needed" page to check my email.

And true enough the email wasn't there. It got in until about 10 mins later. Funny, I remembered last time it was instant.

Anyone else having this problem?

    I haven't faced this problem before when i first started using aweber. Later i decided to discontinued due to high maintenance fees. At presence i'm using a free autoresponder and it's working well despite some ads appearance.

    No I have not had this problem either. I think some people just don't understand that you have to confirm in order to get on the list. Make it as clear as possible to people that they must check their email and confirm by clicking the link. Have you tried making a custom thank you page for this purpose?

      huh never had that problem with aweber. Have had others though. I find some of the others to be better.

      I believe you can't get any clearer than Aweber's default confirmation page. Lol! Then again, the high number of unconfirmed subscribers happen only recently.
