Best Newspaper/publication to Advertise In? LA & NY

Hi Warriors,

I am currently looking at other avenues to find solid writers and would like to start targeting offline methods. Would you guys happen to recommend any particular newspapers or publications in Los Angeles and New York that might work well for this?

Additionally, if anyone has experience posting to Craigslist please drop me a PM (don't advertise your services on here or else the thread will be closed).

Thanks,
Antony.

The biggest newspaper in LA is of course the Los Angeles Times. It's not cheap, but specify your requirements in the Sunday employment section for best results. I get some of my writers there, and but the best writers seem to be students from the local universites with niche specialties.

Thanks for your quick reply. I will check it out and see; I think the quality is really deteriorating on the usual websites. Do you usually get your students from the LA Times, or do you advertise at each Uni? Appreciate the advice.

      Thanks,
      Antony.

Ive just checked it out now, $595 for one Sunday and a few extra bonuses. Definitely need to be sure you'll get interest at that rate; although I am sure I would.
