Subscription Payment Failed... Please Help

Hi,

I received a lot of failed payments from customers in my membersite as notified by paypal. I think it could be insufficient funds in the customer's account.

But is there a way in which such a case can be minimized?

    PayPal give you the option for them to retry the payment before the subscription gets cancelled.

    It's well worth keeping track of these and getting in touch with anyone who suffers a failure. Perhaps offer them a discount to resubscribe.

    To everyone, on that note, do you use other systems to accept recurring payments?

    Cos I heard paypal may not be one of the best around.

    Well I have started using Alertpay and I have had every single subscription fail - I have no idea why and I have submitted a ticket at Alertpay but haven't heard back from them as yet.

    It really sucks when you set up a business and do the work to get these subscriptions and then have them fail multiple times and then cancelled due to the number of retry's been reached. I find it really strange that every single subscription failed.
