I guess it would worth a lot if it was .com

Your best bet is to develop this domain name into something closely related to video marketing. This will help increase its price.

.com domains are worth much more than other extensions

I disagree. The extension has nothing to do with its worth. In my opinion, its the amount of work done to develop the domain that reall matter. For example, I have a nurse.com and do not develop it or do any work on it to improve its image and then someone in japan has nurse.net,develop and promote it like crazy, building backlinks in whatever form that is possible and acceptable, thereby, making a beauty queen of the universe, which is worth more in this case?

The extension has EVERYTHING to do with a domain name's worth. We are not talking about websites here. We're talking about the domain name on its own. As a full time domainer, I can tell you with NO reservation that .COM commands a LOT more money than any other TLD. There's no question about it.

If you are developing a domain by creating a website, building traffic, backlinks, etc., you are not selling a domain name. You're selling a website.

It's true. The extension matters because people want .com, and they're willing to pay more for it.

I would check out videomarketer.com and ask if they want to aquire it.

To be honest, I do not see much value in this, unless you find a decent end user.

When buying domains always keep in mind what strategy you want to use when flipping:

    A) Have you got an enduser already in mind.
    B) Is this going to be valuable to someone who buys its just to resell it.

End user almost always is willing to pay more then a normal investor.

In this case, I cant really see an obvious choice of end user, so that means you are going to get less for that.

Last year I made about $35k selling a domain to an end user. But 2 weeks before that I had an offer of $1200 that I was considering, because there was no viable end user.

So keep those things in mind.

Asking how much a domain is worth is like asking how much a painting is worth. You're going to get a different answer from every person.

The problem with a .co.uk domain is that it really only has appeal to someone in the UK. That's a fairly small market when you think globally. As far as keywords, it doesn't get a lot of searches.

One key to a domain's worth is the availability of the top 3 TLDs: .COM, .NET, and .ORG. In this case, they're all taken which would indicate some potential value, but none of those domains have been developed.

So all in all, it's a mediocre domain at best.

Now if someone had a product called "Video Marketer" and you developed an affiliate site around the domain, the value can go up substantially. However, it's never going to be more than a fraction of the value of the .COM.
