What ShoppingCart System Would Work Best For This?

Warriors, I'm in need of major help setting up the right cart for a new website. If you can think of one that may work, please let me know. Here is what I need it to do all under ONE seamless process or one roof/system...

- Sell downloadable ebooks with secure links/instant downloads
- Sell downloadable LARGE sized audio MP3 files with secure links/instant downloads
- Sell physical products integrated smoothly with TrepStar.com for fulfillment
- Be able to customize order form with my logo, colors, etc.
- Be able to add "related" products/possible upsells
- Includes an affiliate program setup

I'm currently trying to use 1SC, but the problem with them is they won't take large audio files. Plus integrating with TrepStar is rather difficult. But of course, I could probably outsource to have that done.

At this point, I'm thinking I may need a programmer to help me integrate with some sort of shoppingcart system customized for my site to do ALL the things I need.

Anyone have any thoughts on what to do?

There aren't many shopping carts that will handle the delivery of the product files as well. You should look into setting up your own membership sites that have the downloads available in them. That way you could use a whole host of shopping carts/payment processors.

Also I don't know that Trepstar will integrate with 1SC. I tested Trepstar out a while ago when they were under another name and was not overly impressed by the quality of products they provided. I changed over to vervante.com and was much happier. They also integrate seamlessly with 1SC and have net 30 billing so you don't have to pay for the products upfront - makes things a lot easier.

I've used the wprdpress s2member plugin to handle giving out digital files you sell - it's actually very easy although I think it may only work with paypal, I've never tried hooking it up with my actual merchant account. The feature in the plugin is a bit hard to find but it's called "Specific Page/Post"

I've never head of Vervante.com. Do they do CD's and CD sets as well?

I do like 1SC and would like to make it work with everything if possible.

1SC will do everything you mentioned above.

Vervante are quite well known in the IM industry and will do CD/DVD singles or sets and also printed materials. I tested out a few of these companies when I was looking for a drop-shipper last year. I tested out Kunaki, Vervante, and also CD-Fulfillment.com (now Trepstar).

You can see my overall reviews on each here:

The way Vervante integrates with 1SC is you add Vervante to your list of email addresses that receive order confirmation emails so they get those orders and process them automatically for you. Really simple stuff.

Paypal also has a shopping cart feature that allows customization of forms, inventory counts, etc.

TrepStar now has integrations with 1ShoppingCart, eJunkie, PayPal and a few others.
I can't post a link, but go to trepstar and look for the order automation link midway down the left column

Just stumbled upon trepstar myself...that's awesome they are integrating with ejunkie...i really like that they offer multi-disc sets, and allow for flyers, etc to go in the packaging. sweet. haven't used them yet, but not much more expensive than kunaki, and appears to have a better user interface.

I own and operate TrepStar.com This is an FYI to this comment "... Plus integrating with TrepStar is rather difficult [with 1SC]. But of course, I could probably outsource to have that done."

We now integrate with 1SC: I can't include a link in my post but if you look at trepstar.com and scroll the left column to order automation you can find documentation.

Dayne, I know it's been a few years since you made this post, but I have the same question today. I also have 1SC and want to start selling mp3's. I never even considered using 1SC for the entire process, as I didn't think they knew anything about securing audio files and putting expiration dates on them, etc. I figured I needed to go to a service like ECWID or SendOwl, or all the dozens of other systems out there.

What solution did you finally settle on?
