Youtube traffic - help please!

Hi guys

I've tried out lazy tubester technique by Anik Singal and have little traffic from youtube, however, I want to learn more about how to get on the 1st page of youtube with my search terms (just youtube, not actually in google)

So can you recommend some program to quickly teach me about youtube seo, or how many search keywords should I target by video, how to rank 1st page of youtube...

Or if you can share some techniques of youtube seo that you use yourself, or post a link where I can learn it (that worked for you)

I've made up 2 websites with pretty good niches so I sont want o waste them.

my basic questions:
- how to rank 1st page top 3 results in youtube?
- how many keywords should I target per video for the optimal results?
- how does youtube SEO work - what's the use of tags, does keyword density count, how long should be the description, should I place keywords everywhere (title description tags)
- etc, what I didn't ask but is important for traffic

I would much appreciate your help.

    YouTube SEO works basically the exact same way regular SEO works for websites. You gotta remember that Google own YouTube and the algorithm is likely VERY similar, if not identical.

    Target your video to your keywords, add in your tags, description with keyword rich content and any other info they ask for.

    Then just build some backlinks to it man. YouTube videos seem to do VERY well when you build backlinks from social bookmarking sites and web 2.0 sites like Squidoo or HubPages.

    Then just watch the views roll on in!

    Ditto what MatthewNeer said, plus be sure to use relevant channel tags for your channel, which will result in more views.
    Also, look for videos of other people that are similar to yours and that get a lot of views and then post a video response to their video. This will bring you a lot more views, but some guys won't accept your video response, others will...so find a lot of them and post a lot of video responses.
