Website idea

Hi, I am interested in having a nextag.com type website for a particular niche that would pull from about 10 niche shopping sites of which would lead to my affiliate ids with those 10 sites. Is this an expensive site to have built? Right now I don't know enough about what it takes to build something with this kind of functionality and don't want to go out to elance or odesk and find out it will cost 10k to build then have to abandon because I can't afford it. Any insight is appreciated.

    I would start with something like zencart to test it out.

    That way you could load up all your aff products yourself and probably pay an outsourcer alot let to just setup a zen cart and get it to match your preferred look.

    This is really easy if you are targeting specific niche and want to use amazon or ebay to get your product feeds from.

    if it starts making you money, then reinvest the money to customize the features you need on the site.

      yes, this would be a much more viable idea.

      But you can get it done even under $2k.
